We are a spiritual community centered around Christ and the Gospel. As A spiritual community, we are eternally bonded by our spiritual birth. As iron sharpening iron, our goal is to be  light to the world , A city on the hill that cannot be hidden ( Matthew 5: 14). Focused on eternal connectedness, we are to be devoting ourselves to the teaching of the word , to the fellowship , to the breaking of bread and to prayer ( Acts 2:42).   This website is a means to build our spiritual community  by interconnecting ourselves with others so that the gospel can go forward.  Some of our means to achieve this are through sports ministry such as tennis, volleyball, badminton, Mission and prayer nights to support our missionaries, and the Arlington Heights dinner bunch. We would also like to support our local ministries such as COM ( Chicago outreach ministry) and GRIP. Click on the tabs on the left to check each group.   As Paul was thanking and helping other laborers in spiritual communities in the book of Romans (16), and Acts, we would like to be an extension of the book of Acts by providing a dynamic page where we can help each other. Some of the way we can help each other is in the Webboard/ forum part where you can find Christian roommates (http://webboard.yccm.org), help a friend in need of Cars, or jobs. Other pages such as events, Calendar, and info, are to keep us informed in a dynamic way, where you can eventually add your own entries, or email our moderator . Eventually, we should be able to have a community mail going out whenever we need immediate help such as finding volunteers at a last minute for Easter events, Salvation Army Help, or other church events.
